"Down at a warehouse next to Doc's Cafe" Sang John Hovorka in His band, The Turbine's biggest song "Wah Hey." The Dixon Brother's operated a piano restoration shop in this building and lived a giant loft, up top. They had the best parties in this former raincoat factory. That song is about those days. The South End has changed a lot since then. This loft renovation has wonderful characteristics of both old and new. The original floors from this 1890's warehouse have been meticulously restored. The exposed brick walls also add some great detail. Ceilings are high and have industrial exposed pipes for further loft feel.
